I would believe it to be possible. I don't think "witches" would be inherently evil. Nonetheless the concept of "witches" is more unsettling to me than demons due to the fact that I don't see "witches" as inherently evil, thus their motive would be unclear to me, whereas a "demon" I would clearly define as evil and I would clearly identify it as an enemy. "Witch" and "evil" are not synonymous to me, therefore to mysterious encounter one would be quite unsettling.

I guess it is the 'Season of the Witch' in October.. So I am not surprised this thread has bumped. Witches well predomonantly femaile.. What about 'Warlock' then the Male section. Not much is said about them at all. So they slip thruthe net
I have a friend who describes herself as a 'Wood Witch' yet mostly I know her to be very much a gardener of Herbs used for healing, so I prefer to regard her as a herbalist.. Of course there are those that indulge in the Dark Arts and I do not know or want to know any of those..
Some of our Chiefs believe the land belongs to them...
But that is not what The Great Spirit told me... He said No one owns the land, that the land belongs to him. We are just keepers of the land, for our children and for their childrens childen.

lol I actually don't think I would be alarmed if someone identified themselves as a "Warlock" to me. I might even ask to see some of their magic. I don't see "Warlock" and "Evil" as mutual either, however, I too don't really hear about it often so I haven't placed much thought on it lol.

So Where in the US are you located then, I have been to many states over the years and Superstition is rife in certaib stares.. Last time I was in USA for 5 weeks and I was it Texas and I was doing some Reiki k healing on this guy who had back aInd neck pain.. When he began to feel the healing energy he was shocked and said 'Are you a Witch???

I was astounded at his reaction..He was so amazed at the fact he could feel the energy coming from my hands, he couldn't explain it.. Yet he told his friends how I took his pain away and the next night I had 5 of his friends come to see if I could help them too.. So in the Deep South they are very Superstiious and believ in Voodo and black magic..
Have been a Reiki Master for 18 yrs and never had anyone else behave like that  .

Thats a keen deduction. I do live in the deep south xD Georgia to be specific. I wouldn't have guessed superstition to be linked to the entire general area.

Hell yeah, the guy I worked on was from Arkansas... I was also out there looking into the Bigfoot phenomena..
This guy had a very close encounter with one 5 days before I got there, he was still in shock when I saw him.. No way was he making it up either..

A few days after this incident he and I were about to fish this creek that runs into Lake Livingstone, it is known locally that an alligator regards this as his territory.. I was about 100 yards awayfrom the creek , he was at the edge of the creek and I was getting my jacket out of the truck, suddenly I got an image of him face sown in the creek, I yelled out Don't fall in Vic!!' seconds later I head a hufe splash and he was in it.. It was about 5 ft deep very muddy and cold.!! He passed me his wet mobile and his fishing rod and I positioned myself between two tree trunks close together so I could offer a hand to helo him out.. Lucky for him the gator was not around,, We then had to get him home before hypothermia set in,,It was November!! He was astounded at my 'Premonition' but wished I had warned him a few seconds earlier :D
