The depictions on the blue cloth were the word Sister. is depicted might be for this reason or the more obvious one. So here in the uk we have Town twining, in USA & Canada they have Sister towns.. that is possible but a bit unlikely, more likely is they were gifts for Mother, Father, Sister, Brother etc and these commemorated the completion of each section of the Alaska Highway.
The was a highway constrteed in many sections by Military personnel for Military use during World War 11. It was very rough terrain and took many years to complete.
The Eagle motif on the blue material is most likely a brigade insignia.. But as so many Construction brigades were involved its hard to find out more. In Histry only one brigade was named as it was specifically formed for the purpose, It was simply called 'The Black Brigade', and comprised totally of Adrican americans... Racism was rige then and sadly still exists today.

The two blue Kerchief were soted in a small tim and by the look of it never actually wore, either as 'neck kerchiefs' or as 'Bandanas as it more common today.

The Twig of Devils Claw herb, was a native herb medicine, used by many First Nations peoples even to this day. The seeds would be removed and crushed in a Pestle n' mortar and the crushed seeds used to make a kind of infusuin, the resulting liquid was used as a form of pain relief. The seeds on that branch were missing, so had been used. The remaining part could also be used as a similar use by not as strong as the seeds.. So 80 yearslater, native medicine is still used to this day.
I cannot comment on any 'Spooky happenings ' that occurred after discovering these the posterhas not told us what has been happening.. So unless they return, we are not likely to know any more..

Some of our Chiefs believe the land belongs to them...
But that is not what The Great Spirit told me... He said No one owns the land, that the land belongs to him. We are just keepers of the land, for our children and for their childrens childen.
