Everyone thinks of the negatives and no one thinks of the positives..
Some of our Chiefs believe the land belongs to them...
But that is not what The Great Spirit told me... He said No one owns the land, that the land belongs to him. We are just keepers of the land, for our children and for their childrens childen.

Just stopped by the see what had been posted, on one of my favorite topics, still interesting reading, though I still hold to my original notion that a "spirit", or call "it" what you will, might have abilities that make it capable of doing anything it chooses, assuming there a thought processes that allows "it" to choose to do anything in the first place. Noted interesting comments. Hope they continue.

I think Spirit would be very bored if all they could do was throw things, make light flicker etc... After all it takes energy and that is something they need to utilise from us and our batteries draining.. They also need to hear our voices and consider the amount of energy in 'Table tipping' You need a lot of 'Singing' to build up the energy to do this and as the siniging tails off so does the movement of the table..
Its fascinating to see how it develops and the movement is phenomenal..
I often wonder why they like to turn on taps and flush loos...

Isn't running water supposed to be an energy source? Maybe they just like to have a little fun scaring the wits out of us poor mortals. ;)
