Re: Suppose you are an Atheist?

You are very lucky in that respect that you have had such real communication from loved ones/friend after they have passed over. I have had this from mum, dad, my dog and an aunt. It's strange that in my dad and aunts case it was very soon after passing that they said the words Grateful and Thankyou...

Re: Suppose you are an Atheist?

Sorry Blt - I hadn't seen your post above Juno's! That experience must have been both comforting and upsetting xx It is lovely she was able to come through and thank you in that way, but it must also have been deeply emotional for you. Well, it does seem your friend had a big surprise at her own sur...

Re: Suppose you are an Atheist?

I can understand why some people don't agree with religions. I don't, though so long as they aren't being nasty about it then it doesn't bother or offend me. I can't say I believe in one religion, though I always put C of E on forms for simplicity. I do believe in a higher 'force'. I don't believe G...

Actually I have heard good reports about him too and one was first hand from a friend who was on Haunted Homes many moons ago. I ought to rethink this one then lols.

Re: A haunting (Australia)

It does sound interesting but after all the messing about MH did I find I can't trust what I am seeing or being told when it comes to those shows. It's a shame because they do interest me.

Re: Have any of you experienced spirits other than humans??

It certainly does make you think. It can play with your mind when that happens. I remember playing on my street as a kid, possibly around 12, and noticing an elderly man I knew to be another girls granddad who lived on the same street. I had seen him a lot but this particular time stands out. I watc...

Re: If you could come back.......

I suppose thinking rationally it would take a very strong person not to be in shock after seeing a full manifestation of a loved one. My dad did see my mum three times and also her outstretched arms. He was always emotional afterwards but he could take it. It didn't scare him. He was 82/83 when it h...

Re: If you could come back.......

I would try to come back to let loved ones know I was ok and watching over them.

I asked my dad to come back and let me know he was ok but he hasn't in the way I had hoped. But he did in a couple of dreams not long after he passed so I am grateful for that.

Re: Signs They Are Still Around

The kids were too young to realise the importance of the pen when it happened. Tbh I wouldn't have understood it either, although obviously we all would have known it was odd and probably paranormal. It wasn't the only apport to happen upstairs in our house. I think I told you when I first joined ab...
